The appointment process was fast and easy. Dr.Ogbonna prescribed Semaglutide. The only thing and it has nothing to do with the doctor is that pts who are getting semaglutide should be made aware of the possible 2 week delay in getting the medication due to the pharmacy being “backed up.” Just know also if you have a refill you will need to call and schedule an appt with Dr.Ogbonna at least 2 weeks in advance so you don’t run out of medication due to the pharmacy being overwhelmed with prescriptions for semaglutide. But my other prescription was called into my regular pharmacy without difficulty and I was able to pick up the next day. Overall I will come back. I just now know what to expect from the compounding pharmacy that she sends the semaglutide to.
